The Environmental and Community Improvement Fund is for environmental projects that will make your community a safer, tidier and nicer place to live.

You must be a council tenant or leaseholder to apply. 

The Environmental and Community Improvement Fund allows you to apply for a grant of up to £5,000.

We offer 2 funding categories:

• Category 1: Yearly funding of up to £500, available year-round
• Category 2: Funding of up to £5,000, available once every 2 years. This option is open during February each year. This option is now closed

If your application is successful, you will be working closely with your community, Housing Services' Tenant Participation Team and our Tenant Panel members.

You will not be able to apply for Category 2 funding for 2 years, if your grant application has been successful.
